Affiliate Disclosure
Transparency about how FunnelDigital earns revenue and how it affects our content.
Plain-Language Summary
FunnelDigital earns commissions from affiliate links. When you click a link on our site and buy something, we may receive a small percentage of the sale — at no extra cost to you. We are required by law and our own editorial standards to disclose this. Our reviews are based on genuine research and testing, not on the size of any commission.
What Is Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based marketing model where a publisher (us) earns a commission by promoting a merchant’s products or services. When a reader clicks on an affiliate link on our Site and completes a qualifying action — such as making a purchase, signing up for a free trial, or completing a form — we receive a commission from the merchant or affiliate network.
This commission is paid by the advertiser/merchant, not by the consumer. You do not pay any extra fees as a result of using our affiliate links.
Our Business Model
FunnelDigital operates as a performance-based affiliate publisher. Unlike traditional marketing agencies that charge upfront fees, we invest our own capital — in paid advertising (Google Ads, Meta Ads) and SEO content — and earn revenue exclusively through affiliate commissions when our promotions result in sales or conversions.
Our revenue sources include:
- Affiliate commissions — earned when readers click our links and make qualifying purchases
- CPA (Cost Per Action) commissions — earned when referred users complete a specific action (sign-up, trial, subscription)
- Revenue share arrangements — a percentage of recurring revenue generated from referred customers
We do not accept payment in exchange for positive reviews, sponsored placements disguised as editorial content, or any form of undisclosed paid promotion.
Affiliate Networks & Programs We Work With
We participate in affiliate programs and networks including, but not limited to, the following. This list may be updated as we join additional programs:
We may also participate in direct affiliate programs offered by individual brands outside of major networks. These are disclosed on a per-article basis where applicable.
How We Identify Affiliate Links
We are committed to transparency. Affiliate links on our Site are identified through one or more of the following methods:
- A disclosure statement at the top or beginning of articles containing affiliate links
- Inline notices adjacent to specific links or call-to-action buttons (e.g., “affiliate link”)
- A general site-wide notice on pages that commonly contain affiliate links
Affiliate tracking links may use redirects or URL parameters (such as ?ref=, aff_id=, or similar) to attribute clicks to our publisher account.
Editorial Independence
FunnelDigital maintains strict editorial independence. Our compensation through affiliate commissions does not influence the objectivity, accuracy, or integrity of our content. Specifically:
- We do not guarantee positive reviews in exchange for affiliate partnerships
- Our star ratings, pros/cons assessments, and written conclusions reflect our genuine evaluation
- We include affiliate links for products we would recommend regardless of commission rate
- We do not suppress negative findings in reviews of products we have affiliate relationships with
- If a product we previously recommended substantially changes for the worse, we update our content accordingly
We believe long-term trust with our audience is more valuable than any individual affiliate commission. Our goal is to provide genuinely useful guidance that helps readers make informed decisions.
FTC Guidelines & Legal Compliance
This disclosure is made in compliance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Endorsement Guides (16 C.F.R. Part 255), which require clear and conspicuous disclosure of material connections between endorsers and advertisers. Although FunnelDigital is based in Vietnam, we adhere to these internationally recognized standards as best practice.
We also comply with:
- The laws and regulations of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam relating to advertising, e-commerce, and consumer protection
- The ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines where applicable to UK-facing content
- The disclosure requirements of each affiliate network and program we participate in
- The IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) best practices for affiliate marketing transparency
No Additional Cost to You
When you use an affiliate link from our Site, the price you pay for a product or service is exactly the same as if you had gone directly to the merchant’s website. In some cases, our affiliate partnerships allow us to offer exclusive discounts or bonuses that are only available through our links.
We never inflate prices or add hidden fees through our affiliate links. The commission we earn comes from the merchant’s existing marketing budget, not from you.
Questions & Contact
If you have any questions about our affiliate relationships, how we select products to review, or anything related to this disclosure, we’re happy to be transparent.
